Making the Most of Your AEF Membership
A membership with the Arkansas Environmental Federation has always been a good value. For more than four decades now, the AEF has spoken as “the voice of industry on environmental affairs” for Arkansas’s manufacturing firms. We provide valuable, affordable training opportunities each year dealing with compliance in air, water, regulated waste legislation and regulations, reporting, modeling, sampling, energy efficiency, safety, health and government relations. Our convention and trade show is the largest industrial trade show in Arkansas; last year, we featured more than 60 exhibitors and dozens of excellent presentation on a variety of relevant topics. And now, that membership has become even more valuable to your company. We recently partnered with Stephens Inc. to offer a newly formed Health Insurance Purchasing Group named BRAVO to our membership. This program allows any AEF member in good standing to become eligible for the HIPG which offers an array of plans to employers having 1 to 199 employees at reasonable rates. Last fall, the AEF partnered with Roby Brock’s Talk Business to provide all AEF members in good standing with free distribution of Talk Business Quarterly , a magazine that offers feature news reporting, detailed analyses of local and state economic issues, and executive profiles with established and emerging business and political leaders. This benefit also includes weekly distribution of Talk Business’ e-newsletter. And now for a very limited time, AEF members of are invited to join Sam’s Club at a discounted price. For 10 weeks only, AEF members who join Sam’s Club will receive a $10 coupon to be used against the overall price of their membership. This is in addition to access to our Members Only website, weekly Legislative Updates and Bulletins while the Legislature is in Session, the opportunity to participate in meaningful dialogue with public policy makers and regulators on issues that matter to you and are critical to your business, networking opportunities with your professional peers and deep discounts on valuable training through AEF workshops and our convention. What do you have to lose? In these uncertain economic times, one thing is clear – the AEF will continue to be the voice of Arkansas’s industries. We are committed to Arkansas’s industries, and we are committed to making your membership dollars count for you. Becoming a member is easy and fast – just log on to www.environmentark.org, scroll to the bottom of the front page, click on the button that says Membership Application and follow the instructions from there.
